The sun rises over the lofty Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque, and warms the chili fields in the valley to the west. Just so, the Sandia Hots are pleased to bring their unique brand of string band music to you, sure that it will warm your heart and bring a smile to your lips. The Sandia Hots are Liz Stevens on fiddle; Scott Mathis on mandolins and harmonica; Michael Gallagher on banjos, fiddle and accordion; and Linda Askew on guitar. Everybody sings. These folks encompass a wealth of musical experience, playing old and new music of the southern Appalachians, the Southwest and Mexico. |
