FolkMADness is held at New Mexico Tech University, located about 75 miles south of Albuquerque in Socorro. Socorro is at 4,500 feet and boasts warm days and cool nights. Socorro is also home to the Mineral Museum and a short drive from the Bosque del Apache for birding.

Facilities
The campus has sweeping lawns, large shade trees and plenty of outdoor space to jam or just hang out. The workshops and dances are held in the East and West Gyms, which have wood floors. Additional workshop space is in the atrium of the Fidel Center and in Driscoll Hall.

For those who purchased a On-Campus Housing package, you will be staying in one of three college dorms: Driscoll Hall, Presidents Hall and South Hall. All rooms have two twin beds, a closet, and air conditioning. Bathrooms are shared and are gendered male/female. Single rooms are available for an additional fee. If you do not request a single room or a roommate, one will be assigned to you. NM Tech offers optional linen rentals (sheets, blanket, pillow, and towels) for $24 per person.

South Hall is ADA accessible and Driscoll Hall has ground floor access. Presidents Hall is not ADA accessible; each floor is accessed by stairs.

New Mexico Tech also has a pool and tennis courts available for your use.

Meals
Meals are available in the campus cafeteria for all attendees, beginning with Dinner on Friday and ending with Lunch on Monday. For those who purchase an on-campus housing package, all meals are included. For those not staying on campus, meals are available for purchase in the cafeteria during designated meal times. Cost for meals are: Breakfast $9; Lunch $10; Dinner $11 (plus tax). Vegetarian, non-dairy and gluten-free choices are available. If you have special dietary restrictions or severe food allergies, please bring what you need, including a cooler. If you need access to refrigeration, we highly recommend staying off-campus at a nearby hotel or Airbnb.

FolkMADness also has a rich history of having a highly-stocked pot-luck snack table! We rely on volunteers to help manage the table. More information will be provided in the weeks leading up to the weekend.

Pets
