FolkMADS is now hosting a quarterly Family Dance in Albuquerque!
Join us for family focused fun including dancing, singing, and live music for all ages and experience levels!
The first Family Dance of 2025, is January 18th, 10:30 am at Bandelier Elementary School, in the cafeteria. Caller Erik Erhardt and band Cheap Shots will provide dancing and music for all ages. All are welcome!
Who: Everyone! This is a family event with dances and songs for kids, people of all ages and skill levels are welcome, no experience necessary to have fun. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
To get to the Bandelier Elementary School Cafeteria, Park in the lot near the corner of Wellesley Dr and Burton Ave (entrance on Burton). Note the gate will be locked at approximately 1 PM, so do not leave cars in the parking lot.
Tentative dates for the remaining dances of the year are 4/26/25, 8/9/25, and 10/18/25. all from 10:30 – 12:30 with locations likely at the ABQ Square Dance Center.
