Join us for the second Family Dance of 2025, Saturday April 26th, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. We have a late breaking venue change due to circumstances outside of our control. Please join us at the Lloyd Shaw Dance Center this Saturday for the Family Dance! Katherine Bueler will join us for the first time to call the family dance and brings years of community and contra dance calling experience. The Central Avenue String Band will rock out with their old-time fun-filled live music. Please note that Family Dances are roughly quarterly this year so don’t miss out! All are welcome! Who: Everyone! This is a family event with dances and songs for kids, people of all ages and skill levels are welcome, no experience necessary to have fun. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: We’re adjusting our entrance fee and are trying a “Pay what you Want” approach, where attendees can pay whatever they feel is appropriate. The recommendation is ~$10-$20 per family. We used to charge $10 per adult, kids free.
Dates for the remaining dances of the year are 8/9/25, and 10/18/25. All from 10:30 – 12:30.
